COOKIES
What the Vetheria Network stores in your browser
Cookies and browser storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
session | HTTP cookie | Keeps you signed in after Discord login. Signed, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure on HTTPS. | Up to 7 days |
oauth_state | HTTP cookie | Temporary anti-CSRF state used during the Discord sign-in flow. | 10 minutes |
vetheria-cookie-consent | localStorage (not a cookie) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected the cookie banner. | Until cleared |
ph_*_posthog | Analytics cookie | Set by PostHog only after you Accept the cookie banner. Stores an anonymous identifier used to count pageviews and interaction events, sent to the EU-hosted PostHog instance at https://eu.posthog.com. | Up to 1 year |
ph_*_session | Analytics cookie | PostHog session marker for the current visit (same analytics set as ph_*_posthog). | Session |
If you Accept the cookie banner, we use PostHog for product analytics. It collects pageviews and interaction events (clicks, changes, submits) so we can understand how the site is used. Data is sent to the EU-hosted PostHog instance at https://eu.posthog.com. Rejecting the banner prevents PostHog from loading entirely: no analytics data is sent and no ph_* cookies are set.
How to clear them
Logging out clears your session. You can also remove site data through your browser's settings: deleting the session cookie signs you out, and removing the vetheria-cookie-consent entry shows the cookie banner again.
